Names being taken for Summer League

Names are now being taken for the Orkney Pool Summer Singles League. Each match in the league will consist of 6 frames with players receiving 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw, players lose 1 point for each game they do not get played.

The format of the competition will depend on the number of entries but it is likely that every player will be required to play 1-2 games a week. This will all be made clear when the league begins.

Players are asked to think carefully before committing to the league as all non played games result in a loss of points, once a player has played a game they cannot withdraw from the league. Games are all self arranged and there will be a list of fixtures drawn up at the start of the league

The league will run from 1^st June to 31^st August and you can enter by posting here before 6pm on Wednesday, May 31^st
