The men's match proved a very tense affair which looked like it was going Orkney's way when they led 16-12. But a very determined and pumped up Shetland team came back very strongly at the end to edge the tie by 20 games to 19.
The Orkney Ladies had much more joy, earning a lead very early on which they held on to, to run out deserved victors by 23 games to 17 and win the trophy for the second successive year.
