40 players took part in yesterday's Orkney League Singles in the Standing Stones where ranking points were available for selection towards next year's Orkney sides.. With 20 of the 22 players heading to Shetland at the end of March involved in the draw it was good to see such a high standard of pool played throughout the day. The final 2 players remaining at the end of the day were 2 of Orkney's finest in Keith Keldie and Neil Cormack. It was Keith who got the better of Neil in the final, winning by 6 frames to 3. This is Keith's third singles title of the 2017/18 season.
