Well done to the Stromness Legion for winning ALL 16 games in the 2015/16 Orkney Pool League. This is a fantastic achievement for the boys and they're a credit to the game. The Stromness Legion team was, admittedly, made up of County players most of the time, but considering that many of the opposition teams also had players from past and present County teams, it makes the success of this particular league team all the more impressive. The frames won rate was slightly over 66% and I think that any amateur team participating in any team sport would take that to be extremely acceptable; and to win the league with this two thirds frame rate was the inevitable bonus. Well done again, and here's to next season.
