Orkney Pool League 2018/2019 League App Update

Good evening Folks

I have an update on the new league app live app we are implementing into our OPA pool league this year.

I have sent a text to all captains this evening with their login details for the app. This should be accessed by either the captain or another member of their team. When you log into the app you should be able to see a list of fixtures that you have. Your first fixture you can start entering the players manually and once you have entered them you can reuse them over the course of the season.

When you are entering your teams into the app please do so as seen below.

I have chosen the Stones 1 v Stones 2 Game just as an example.

You need to enter each player twice as each game counts as a frame.

This is how you should set up your team fixtures and you can allocate who breaks on each one.

The App will also allow you to keep an eye on other results live to see if you need to make sure you win.

I will still be doing a report for the paper each week and will hopefully post a table in there and on the Orkney Pool Association Facebook Page regularly.

I must reiterate how important it is that yes I would like you to try the app so we may use it in the future depending on feedback however I would also like manual paper scorecards to be sent to me and also posted on the fb page just in case the app breaks down, lack of Wi-Fi connection etc etc.

If anyone has any problems with their app please let either myself (Kyran Taylor), Erlend Grieve, Neil Cormack or Paul Robertson know so we can rectify the issue.

If you forget your pin to login, please let me know and I will send you it as soon as possible.

When you have finished your match, you must click ‘all done’ otherwise the result will not save and I will have to manually o it which could cause issues.
