Neil Cormack wins sixth Challenge Cup title

Congratulations to defending champion, Neil Cormack who won his sixth Challenge Cup title today after beating Stewart Keldie 6-1 in the final. This is the third time the pair have met each other in the final of this event and it is the fourth time Stewart has finished runner up. Earlier in the evening Neil had been on scintillating form to have beaten Keith Keldie 5-1 in the semi final while Stewart got the better of veteran Gordon Wylie by 5 frames to 1.

The tournament was the largest ever entered competition in Orkney Pool history with an incredible 103 entries. Thanks go to all those entrants, to Nick’s Cutting it back for sponsoring the event and to The Standing Stones Hotel for hosting the finals
