Orkney Pool’s first ever Fantasy Pool competition has now
been running for 14 weeks, since the season began. At the start of the season
all entrants selected a team of 8 players, with a budget of £30 and were not
allowed to choose more than 2 players from any one team. Each entered team were
then awarded one point for each frame won by a chosen member of their team in
this year’s Orkney Pool League, with any player who won 4 frames in a night
awarded a bonus point. So far the leader is on 244 points but for a bit of
interest let’s take a look at the perfect team which could have been picked for
£30. This team would be on a staggering 280 points so if you have 2 or 3 of
these guys in your team you are sure to be doing well!!
