Cormack and Grieve win 5th Orkney Doubles Title

Yesterday in The Standing Stones saw the 15th annual Orkney Doubles take place. 19 pairs competed in the event before the last 2 pairs remaining in the competition were the three time winners, Stewart and Keith Keldie and the defending champions Erlend Grieve and Neil Cormack. The final was a very entertaining affair which went right down to the wire, but Erlend and Neil prevailed by holding their nerve to pot the deciding black and secure a 5-4 win, and thus winning the trophy for a record third successive year and fifth time overall.

Thanks go to all the players who competed and to the Standing Stones for hosting the event
