Congratulations to Paul Sinclair who won this year's Orkney Pool Classic by defeating Steven Tulloch 5-3 in final. It was a bitter sweet success for Paul, having finished runner up to Shaun Spence in last year's tournament. Commiserations also to Steven who came through a very tough draw to make what was his first Orkney Singles final. In reaching the final both players earned valuable ranking points which will see them each compete for Orkney in next year's inter county in Shetland.
74 players competed in the event and it was great to see a very high standard of pool played throughout the competition
